A Sad Incident

Few days ago, on my way to office, I was in a bus that stood at the bus stand. I saw a few people peeping their heads out of the bus to see someone. I also heard the sound of someone being beaten by a big stick. I too tried to see what was happening. A policemen bet an old lady with his lathi stick for the reason (crime) of begging. The old lady should have had atleast the age of his mom or even more than that. This is how old people are respected in our country. I do not know what made that policemen to beat her. She tried to move to the other side of the bus despite getting lathi beats. She was rubbing her hand as she moved off. I do not encourage people who are begging, at the same time, I feel that we should try to respect people who are elder than us. Though we won't be able to help them everytime, Atleast let us not do any harm to them.
Then the driver in my bus told something funny. Earlier every beggar in that bus stand used to give Rs.60/- to the police for letting them beg. This was found out by some higher police officers and the other sub-police officers were warned. May be this is the person for that policemen to beat that old lady. Aahh.. anyway I do not know the real reason. Whatever it is, I felt bad that day and as the bus started moving on, the incident started fading a little in my mind.
Lets try to help them a little if possible, at the same time lets not hurt anyone like this.

Story

Hi Everyone!!! A few days before I saw a book with my friend which read us "Can Love Happen Twice?" I just read a few pages of that Book and found that its the second part of another Love story "I too Had A Love Story." Both books were written by Ravinder Singh, an author by chance.
Just because I do not have the first part, I managed to read the second Book. The easy English that the author has used made me to stick to the book till I finish it to the last page which really had a happy ending. Unlike the second book the first book is a real tragic love story in which the girl friend of the author passes away in an accident just before a few days of her engagement with the author of the book. Somehow I managed to get the First book too from the same friend and I'm finding time to read it fully. Though I knew that its a tragic love story, the way the story is being written is really amazing. My interest to read the first book was really high just because its the real love story of the Author, Ravinder Singh who is also a Software Engineer. so, Folks if you get a chance to read these books, Don't miss it !!!
